I THINK WE SHOULD HEAR BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY BEFORE WE SPILL OUR HEARTS. SOME OF THESE TAXI DRIVERS FROM CERTAIN BACKGROUNDS HAVE ATTITUDE PROBLEMS. I say why move from the driving position at all?? Simply accelerate hard for a second then hit the brakes. The door will close then you can take off again, staying at all times in and in control of the vehicle which is your best asset in that situation. I wouldn't have a go at the driver face to face because he has been through a horrible experience and nothing will change what has happened.
