PPRT Hours for December

It is often problematic getting all the peakie drivers informed as to what the allowed hours are throughout the year, I know when I drove full time I’d often call my peakie mates when we received messages of extra hours and that was the first they’d heard of it. So I decided I will post up the information I received today via email.

Additional Peak Period Times for the Christmas New Year Period

Thursdays 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th December

Start 17:00 finish 24:00

Fridays 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th December

Start 15:00 finish 06:00 Saturday

Saturdays remain the same

Start 17:00 finish 06:00 Sunday

Sundays remain the same

Start 18:00 finish 24:00

Christmas Eve Monday 24th December

Start Monday 14:00 finish 03:00 Tuesday 25th

Christmas Tuesday 25th December

Start Tuesday 11:00 finish 03:00 Wednesday 26th

Boxing Day Wednesday 26th December

Start Wednesday 15:00 finish 06:00 Thursday 27th

New Years Eve and Perth Cup
Start Monday 31st December 15:00 and continuous to 06:00 Wednesday 2nd January 2008

The compulsory nights are still the Friday, Saturday. All others are optional apart from New Years eve and Perth Cup on both the 31st Dec and 1st Jan the compulsory hours are 20:00 to 06:00 when and if you work during the other times within that 37 hour block is up to you.
